Symfonie is a division of KnitPro International, a family-owned manufacturer of needlecraft tools and accessories based in Jaipur and Delhi (Noida), India. Symfonie is the dreamchild of a few passionate knitters and crocheters on the team who took it upon themselves to research the marketplace and educate themselves about the many facets of hand-dyeing, then convinced the whole company to support their endeavour. Symfonie is both a labour of love and a quest to supply creatives everywhere with the highest quality, affordably-priced hand-dyed yarns possible.
KP couldn’t imagine creating yarns unique to India without drawing upon the natural dyes that have distinguished their textiles for thousands of years.
They began with everyone’s magical favourite, indigo, for a duo of soulful blues, then they turned to the marigold, a blossom that is intrinsic to our everyday lives, for a deep golden yellow. KP rounded out their bouquet with a soft rose and a deep rust (both made from madder root) and a soothing ecru (a blend of madder root and alkanet).
Each skein of this DK-weight yarn delivers 240 yards (220 meters) of pure, enduring colour.
